Kallehave
The shelter site Kallehave is located in a diverse forest area just south of Gl. Rye and serves well as an overnight spot for hikers on the Aarhus - Silkeborg hiking route and the paths along the Gudenå River.
There is a fire pit, and firewood can be gathered from the forest floor. Alternatively, firewood can be purchased from the neighbor at Lindholmvej 39. Payment for this can be made via mobile payment. There is no water or other facilities. Dogs on a leash and horses are allowed. Bring your own enclosure for horses.
In case the site is occupied by other guests, the rules of the Danish Nature Agency regarding free camping apply.
Booking the site in advance is not necessary.
